Well I broke my heel last summer and for months didn't get out with the camera much, just shot one gig pictures still to follow lazy bones me, lol.But I went back to one of my favorite places and had a bash. It's well work the visit but be warned there isn't anywhere to have a pee. I got caught out the last time and had to cut my trip short. But that's enough about my bladder.
Well, I went on holiday to York about a month ago and decided to travel light so I took two Voigtlander rangefinder film Cameras. They are the Bessa R3A & R4A along with the 21mm F4 Colour Skopar and 50mm F1.5 Ultron lens. Rangefinders are a lot smaller than an SLR particularly a pro SLR so were much easier to carry around, one in a hip back and one in my hand on a wrist strap. They are flexible, functional and pretty versatile too. So I thought I'd post some pics of my rangefinder journey.
I have to confess I enjoyed using them very much and hope to do so much more in the future.
Well, I shot a gig about a month ago and have finally got around to posting the photos. It did me the world of good to take a break and not post them imediately. I was able to look on them with fresh eyes which made it even more easier to kull the rubbish from dare I say the passable. I'll let you be the judge of that. So for the time being the love hate relationship with gig photography continues.
Hey, thanks Rich for including me in your journal. I'm not sure 'amazing' is the word I'd use though, more like as my teacher used to say 'must try harder' but that's what it's all about after all. I will be keeping a close eye on your up coming photos too.
